Download, Register & Login

The app is currently available on the App Store and Google Play

The app is free to download on the App Store for iPhones and Google Play for Android devices.

In order to be able to use the full functionality such as the call and text exchange feature, you need to register with a mobile number or email so that you can connect with your contacts.

When you open the app you will be taken to a registration page. Please fill in your details as requested and this will complete registration.

By entering the PIN sent to your email, in the registration page.

You may click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login page and follow the steps to retrieve your username, password, or both.

Yes you can. On the login page there is an option to Login with Facebook

So that contacts can search for you in the app and add you as a friend

Using Palaver

Your contact list from your phone is imported into the app and this will allow you to add contacts who already have the app or invite those that do not.

Yes, when you download the app it will ask for access to your contacts. This will enable contacts to be added into the app

When registering on the app you select your primary language

Through the burger menu, you can go to your profile and change the primary language.

Yes, you can also have a secondary and tertiary language that you can toggle between on the home page.

Translation on demand is a speech-to-speech, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and text-to-text instant translation feature from Palaver. Simply select the language you want to translate to, and Palaver does the rest.

Yes, speed of translation is dependent on your speed of connection.

Yes you can. Please select “Pick Photo” from the options when you are translating an image.

You can review a transcript of the translation after ending your conversation and provide feedback to Palaver. This is so we are consistently providing a better service to you!

There is a feature in the transcript page that can be used to identify inaccuracies, and also a feedback selection option, which would help further improve accuracies for future conversations.

Live translate your audio calls with Palaver’s talk translate tool. Simply select your primary language, add your contacts, pick up the app and dial – Palaver takes care of the rest.
